Hunting Island has
14 State owned cabins available year-round to the public located
on the south end of the park. Most cabins have 2 or 3 bedrooms
and accommodate 6 to 10 people.
State owned cabins are equipped with bed & bath
linens,
central heat & air, microwave, cooking & eating
utensils,
screened porch, outdoor grill picnic table and color TV.
Both ocean and lagoon side cabins are available. Four have fireplaces and there
is one handicapped accessible cabin.
The cabins are very popular and it's highly recommended that
all reservations be made very early, as most are reserved
one or more years in advance. Sorry, NO PETS are
allowed.
It's ocean side living with all the comforts of home and more. About all you've
got to bring is the
camera, swimming gear, food and sun lotion.
